Biography
Anna Lunoe is a perfect example of how electronica musicians need to be multi-talented if they want to survive. While making her living as a DJ, producer, singer and songwriter would be far more than most could handle, she's also spent time as a radio DJ and is a consummate live performer, having cut her teeth in numerous club slots in her native Australia. By the mid-2000's, she was making a name for herself in Australia, Europe and the U.S, and in 2009, Ministry Of Sound asked her to be the first woman to curate one of their mixes. The record ended up being “The Clubbers Guide To 2010”, and as if to ask why it took the Ministry so long to ask a woman to curate a mix of theirs, it was certified Gold in a matter of weeks.
In 2011 she started releasing her own original productions, and in 2012, she relocated from Australia to Los Angeles, California full time, and released her debut EP “Real Talk” soon after she arrived. The title track ended up being a number one hit on the Beatport Indie Dance chart for four months straight, and support slots with Diplo, Disclosure and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs followed among many others. To this day, Lunoe remains a hugely acclaimed artist by both her peers and critics alike, with acclaimed festival slots at Electric Forest to Coachella and sold out tours the world over to boot. She's set to be a major player in the world of electronica very soon, and for that, she comes highly recommended.

You just don’t see enough female DJ/singers out there on the scene these days. Anna Lunoe is a DJ/singer from Sydney Australia who is really making a name for herself these days with her original material, organically building up her following.
She is just as good as any other DJ out there with her fantastic remixes and original slant on various tracks that are dominating the charts right now, and her sound is very accessible and commercial. It’s fun to listen to and gets you dancing almost instantaneously. She performs some of her biggest hits to date such as “All Out”, a song that she takes the lead on, with such an infectious hook in the chorus. It has the whole gathering this evening jumping to this beat, and then even more so to her song, “Breathe” which features some fantastic sounds upon a brilliant beat, the bass line is monumental. It’s simply a concoction of various hooks laid up on top of each other that have caught the audience and have them dancing from start to finish.
Had really high hopes for seeing Anna live, I love her Beats 1 show. This show was a complete let down, Nina Las Vegas, opened and she has zero talent it was hard staying at the show through her set. If anybody is listening please drop her from the tour she sucks so bad and has no business being on stage. I'all keep listening to Anna on beats radio but no more live shows for me. We left early the set lacked energy and good music.
