Barbra Streisand is a household name which give much to her esteem and popularity around the world. Ever since the 1960's when she began her music career in New York she had been flung into the limelight with her first album, 'The Barbra Streisand Album,' going Gold. This alone was an impressive accomplishment, but the buck definitely did not stop here. Ever since the start of her singing career she has had 51 Gold Albums and 30 Platinum Albums which are a testament to her extraordinary career. The 72 year old singer still shows that she has what it takes to get the crowds attention following her latest tour: Barbra Live in 2013. This was in fact the one and only time I saw her live on stage at the O2 Arena in London; her presence and her poise, simply left me awestruck. I was not disappointed. Despite how large the O2 Arena is, her powerful voice occupied every corner giving the whole audience a flair of excitement and thrill. I could feel an electric buzz filled the air in anticipating over what her next song of choice will be out of her huge collection. As she sang "No More Tears," a shiver ran down my spine as her tremendous voice altered at the drop of a coin to a soft and delicate vibrato. She was accompanied by a 60-piece orchestra, special acts such as Ryan Molloy from the Jersey Boys and her sister, Roslyn Kind for a fantastic duet. I looked around to see the reactions of others who were equally as stunned as me, noticing swelled up eyes and tears running down their cheeks full of joy. All for this night. Their wait to see Barbra Streisand came true.
