Returning to Harken Hall Saturday, July 18, Pitney Meyer brings a powerful blend of tradition, craftsmanship, and authentic bluegrass storytelling. The duo—made up of Mo Pitney and John Meyer—was born from a longtime friendship and a shared passion for preserving the roots of bluegrass music. The concert also features The Petersens, an international touring family band.

Pitney Meyer’s debut album, Cherokee Pioneer, captures that spirit in its purest form. Recorded entirely in an analog studio they built inside a historic 1837 log cabin—once owned by Johnny Cash—the project reflects a deep commitment to authenticity.
