Andrea Rubbio and Virginia Bones are gaining international recognition as the indie band GEOGRAPHY OF THE MOON, which they formed as a duet eight years ago in Britain before moving to Cambodia and then took their distinctive sound to the rest of East Asia.

Their death-pop, post-punk recordings incorporate elements of blues with surf-guitar riffs reminiscent of Frank Zappa that initially attracted the expat scene but are now widely played on commercial radio in Japan and Thailand – and in Europe and even South America.

Born from the union of a boldly dissonant Jaguar guitar and a mesmerizing voice, SEND ME LOVE LETTERS creates a turbulent and emotionally charged sonic universe. Four young musicians, driven by passion, crossed paths by chance and quickly realized they shared the same dream and no Plan B.

Following the release of their acclaimed debut EP, At Least We Tried (2022), the band returns in 2025 with their second EP, This Won’t Cure Your Depression. Across six tracks, they navigate between the shadows of indie rock and the brightness of modern alternative rock, drawing inspiration from artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice, and Nothing But Thieves.

This Won’t Cure Your Depression is an ironic smile at life's hardships. Their music doesn't claim to fix anything, but it hopes to offer comfort and companionship to those who recognize themselves in the emotions it explores.
