After a good number of years I finally got to see one of the prog bands that has eluded me... I refer to Mystery, playing their first London based gig, a French Canadian (at their insistence) six piece band. Sporting two new members Antoine Michaud and front man Jean Pageau (only on his third gig). Played an exquisite set faithful to the studio albums, which is such a rarity these days. The progressive symphony that the Borderline witnessed was outstanding. It wasn't quite a sell out, but that was down to the fickle music industry in the UK which is chaotic at best. A lot of people missed a tremendous gig. But it was a pleasure to actually meet the band afterwards and have a good chat with them. They said they wanted to come back, I certainly hope they do, and they remember the fans who went home very happy that night. I don't want to wait too long so please come back soon.
