Connected Agency presents: New York instrumental group City of the Sun live in Belgrade on 16 September at Sprat.

City of the Sun make music that needs no vocals to speak directly. Built around acoustic guitars, rhythmic intensity and cinematic arrangements, their sound moves freely between indie rock, American folk, flamenco and blues — intimate in its detail, but built for big emotional release.

Formed in 2011, City of the Sun built their audience through touring and busking, bringing their music directly to listeners. Their live shows carry that same physical, spontaneous energy: intricate guitar work, restless percussion and melodies that gradually open into wide, immersive climaxes.

In April 2026, City of the Sun released Under the Moon, a 13-track album that continues to explore the group’s acoustic, rhythm-led and cinematic instrumental sound.

Returning to Belgrade, City of the Sun bring their immersive live show to Sprat — a chance to experience instrumental music at its most vivid, physical and emotionally direct.
