Domo Branch and Grant Richards

NYC-based Orbits Trio, led by pianist and Portland native Grant Richards, will make their West Coast debut on September 5th, 2026 at Show Bar in Revolution Hall as part of the 2026 Montavilla Jazz Festival. Featuring bassist John Sims and drummer Roberto Giaquinto, the trio will be performing the word premiere of new material from their forthcoming album, Orbits Trio+3: Coaction.

After the trio from 7:30-8:30, the Domo Branch Quintet will perform from 9:30-10:30, presenting new originals by another incredible Portland musician currently making waves in the NYC jazz scene, drummer Domo Branch.
