Based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s 1912 novel of the same name, THE LOST WORLD tells the story of a group of adventurers who discover an isolated plateau in the Amazon where Dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals have survived.

Harry O. Hoyt’s highly influential 1925 film was the first American movie to deploy stop motion animation, combining animated dinosaurs with human actors in a way that remains thrilling a century later.
