Mura masaaaa! pretty good mhm, pretty good. first impressions, smaller venue helped illustrate the sorta vibes present in his music. The addition of a stage hand singing majority of of the collaborated segments helped to remove pressure of alienation from the artist to the audience that usually occurs when voice is met without a mouth. The lack of visuals were a detriment to the show. I am a firm believer that visuals can make or break a djs performance and in this case the short minimal and in most cases boring and uninspired visuals really took me away from the music. Moments where visuals would occur would simply be a loop of small snippets from music videos and the flashing of "MURA MASA" and occasionally the name of the artist collaborating n the song. The other half of the performance was majority cast by a black screen which ultimately left me wishing for more. with his slow guitar droans and effortless percussion making quite the visual interest.
Additions of stage hands helped to truly lift the spirit of the audience and bring an exciting factor that I think would have been sorely missed without. The lack of visual interest was an sad loss for the performance and as such found the performance uninspired at times. Masa himself performed exceptionally.

Im Casual follower as opposed to a die hard disciple. I felt he could have done more to adapt his material to the live setting, but overall the show was very enjoyable with a good atmosphere.
He had a go at performing, more often than not he was occupied either playing on a drum pad, on a synth, a guitar or even singing into a vocoder, but generally it sounded very close to the record. He also employed several vocalists for singing duties and that made a world of difference. Kudos for his efforts. He could have elected to enact that David Guetta/EDM farce of standing behind a laptop and jumping up and down with one hand in the air that can befall many who primarily produce.
I would class his sound as almost chillout, but he cranked the volume here and it went down very well. An impressive light show also provided a dazzling tonic for the sound and vibe.
All-in-all It worked well for a Thursday evening, out but not out-out, in bed by 12 kinda thing. I Would go again in a few years once he's churned out some more material and sharpened his show/ increased the budget.
Man, everything about this guy is carefully thought out, articulate and executed.
His best mate Bonzai comes out looking chic AF rocking red braids and keeps the energy up until my new best friend Fliss arrives, slaying with some killer moves, feeling the music and I'm eating it up.
Venue was magical and we were in the bleachers but didn't feel far from the action.
He was running around slaying samples, creating loops and then would pick up an instrument with expert flow, the whole.tbing was a sensory overload.
Fliss and Bonzai close out before the encore, then Nao comes out and brings firefly to life.
Crossan said it was "the best day of his life" and even lay down infront of his decks to be still and feel the moment, that was nice to witness and be a part of.
Best show, a must see.
All I can say is amazing. The opening acts, everything, everyone.. The vibe was just so heartwarming and beautiful. If you're unsure about whether to go see Mura, I'm telling you now GO AND BUY THAT TICKET, he deserves all the love in the world and you will have the greatest night of your life. Thank you Alex for your amazing music, your talent and the happiness you bring to everyone with your music
I loved the show! The support band "Jadu Heart" were amazing and made me exited to then see Mura Masa. There was a girl singing to some of the songs but I unfortunately do not know her name:( She was fantastic and complimented his songs perfectly! Great show overall but maybe not enough space at the Melkweg to dance to it..
One of the best concerts I have EVER been to. The presentation of the set, the interaction the acts had with the audience and the atmosphere of the crowd was amazing. The only thing I would say is that the opening acts were meh, partly due to no one knowing who the hell they where but apart from that it was gud.
This was an awesome show. He had a great light display, great energy, Bonzai performed with him for the vocals and she was amazing. The opener was solid too. Venue was perfect size as there were a lot of people but it was a good setup. Not too crowded, not too spacious. All around great show.
An amazing show!!! I loved every second of it. Cool lights, what a talented guy, so humble. What a great way to transform his music, and to present it. Loved the Tricky Falls venue for this type of show, very intimate, great sound, and good light work. Overall an amazing show.
The best live show I've seen in quite a while. Hollywood wasn't ready LA wasn't ready the world is it ready yet. MURA masa Bonsai and Nao killed it. Worth every penny. It's over. The takeover has begun. Beautiful music Is back.
