Great to see The Beths at The Fleece in Bristol! Friendly venue, (could bring my niece with no worries), and The Beths seem to go from strength to strength...more thoughtful and insanely catchy songs, and an easy banter with the crowd.
Vocals started out a little muted, but some good-natured feedback from the crowd & an obliging Liz cranked that up where it belonged!
The support act, Hans Pucket, were a big surprise: a nice bunch of guys who really know their guitars. I mean REALLY know them! Maybe better than their parents, their favourite colour, or that one book you read in school that burns itself into your subconscious for the rest of your life even though you tried like hell to understand valencies for months and just ended up ditching chemistry because all you could remember was that Boyle had a law..about inverted gas or something...?
Er, but back to The Beths...really appreciate them slogging it out to the UK: my second time seeing them and a brilliant night each time!

The are amazing! Liz' voice live is just like on record. It was like having someone come and sing in living room. Go see them, they are so talented and their songs are excellent.
