I never really got a chance to see Throwing Muses when I was younger, because I was too young at the time to be going to these sorts of concerts. When these guys were touring, I was watching the wiggles. But now, I can still see them live, because they've gotten back together and in my opinion, sound more amazing than ever. I've been able to see them a couple times already and plan to more in the future.
You don't get good rock like this very often anymore, so it's nice to see the style come back and be popularized the way it is. Of course, you've got a good old mosh pit up front to keep you entertained in case the music isn't enough.
There's a presence of camaraderie that I don't get at a lot of other shows like I do with Muses, especially when they get to their legendary solos and everybody is cheering. You might want to drink beforehand because both of the venues I went to would not allow alcohol on the premises which was a huge bummer, but I learned from my mistakes and enjoyed myself even more the second time. The third time I'm hoping to get backstage passes in order to meet some of the newer band mates!
