Blue Earth Sound

Blue Earth Sound is the instrumental project of Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist and composer James Weir, blending cinematic jazz, soul and psychedelic instrumental textures into richly atmospheric soundscapes. Signed to London's DeepMatter Records, their critically acclaimed debut Cicero Nights blends soulful grooves, cinematic textures and intuitive musicianship, drawing on 70s American soul, Japanese jazz, vintage film scores and the introspective moods of cult 80s post-rock band Talk Talk.
