The multi-talented siblings have been playing together since they were 10 and 11. Their performances can be described as two different voices coming together to create a healing, ethereal, and emotional experience for the listeners, as well as themselves.
22-year-old alto saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Ebban Dorsey is an extraordinary rising star making waves in the contemporary jazz scene. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Dorsey graduated from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and Baltimore School for the Arts. She was also a member of the Herbie Hancock Institute’s National Peer-to-Peer Quintet and Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz from 2020-2022.
Ephraim Dorsey, 23-year-old tenor saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, is from Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and Baltimore School for the Arts. He has been playing since he was 11, and in the past 7 years, he has studied with Blake Meister, Carl Grubbs, Gary Thomas, and is currently studying under Tim Green.
