Fefe Dobson, a Juno-winning Canadian songwriter and artist, does not just stand on stage and sing. She does not just sway or move her hips. In concert she presents elaborate sets on stage, performs surprising and fun entrances, and plays up to the audience like an expert performer.
In leather pants and a revealing shirt at the MMVAs in 2011 she belted out her hit, "Stuttering" and the audience sang along without any prompting whatsoever. She danced, she swayed, and she sang her song like a pro. The audience was nothing short of taken with her, beauty and talent alike.
Even on a stage in jeans on the Jay Leno show she still oozed raw talent and performance-savvy. The songs were smoother and not as much of an anthem, and yet she still hooked the audience with her classically beautiful voice. She charmed everyone there that night, performing another hit, Everything.
And just when you thought she was going to stand back and sway like every other artist, she hopped up to the edge of the stage and sang directly to the audience in an intimate, wonderful fashion that showed her to be the down to Earth girl with the spectacular voice that she is.
