After their last six sell out shows, The Dodge Brothers return to PizzaExpress Live Holborn to play a very special intimate show exclusively for PizzaExpress Live Holborn.

Comprising Mike Hammond, Aly Hirji, (BBC film critic) Mark Kermode and Alex Hammond, The Dodge Brothers are a skiffle-and-blues band producing new songs written and performed in the old style, harking back to the days of jug-band blues and early rock’n’roll.

Following their second album 'Louisa and the Devil', ('wonderful stuff!' –Whispering Bob Harris) the band recorded 'The Sun Set' (‘Marvellous new record” -Jools Holland) at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, using authentically old-fashioned recording techniques to recapture the spirit of a bygone age (a BBC Radio 2 Documentary was made following the band on this journey).
In 2018 they released their fourth album ‘Drive Train’ described as “Essential Listening” by Whispering Bob Harris on his BBC Radio 2 Country Show.

Their version of Rock Island Line, has now been used in the Brian Epstein biopic Midas Man, The Dodge Brothers featuring in the movie as The Beatles support act in The Cavern in 1961.

As a live act The Dodge Brothers have played everywhere from Lapland to the Royal Albert Hall, selling out throughout the UK. The Dodge Brothers tunes of proven merit never fail to entertain.

Their last show included the surprise special guest Tom Robinson, who joined The band for their encore.
