Luan Luan and Stevoo Hide

A night of European music spanning four countries, Italy, Spain, France and Ukraine. Headlined by Luan Luan and Stevoo Hide, two solo artists with many musical projects together. Supporting them is Gaylien De Mars, performing music by Edith Paif, and Ira Bilenko performing original music and songs from Ukraines indie music scene!

Luan Luan

Originally hailing from Madrid and now based in Brighton, Luan Luan is an artist who breaks free of genre-boxed, crafting colourful, emotionally compelling soundscapes framed by a synaesthetic view of the world. With a multi-genre sound that blends indie, funk, pop, soul and R&B, their music is a kaleidoscopic reflection of internal worlds made audible. Each musical moment they create feels like a sensory map; colourful, layered and highly personal, with dynamic saxophone solos and anchored by fingerstyle guitar playing that pulses with rhythmic bounce and melodic flair.

Stevoo Hide

Stevoo Hide is a Brighton-based singer, guitarist and songwriter, originally from a small town in Italy. His music takes you on a big swing of different genres - from rock to jazz, grunge to alternative folk and more - blending together musical influences that have shaped his distinctive songwriting.

Gaylien De Mars

Gaylien de Mars is a gay little alien all the way from planet Mars, transforming at will into anything and anyone! Transforming into Edith Piaf for us, get ready to be teleported to a quaint little Parisian terrace and prepare for a close encounter of the queer kind!

Ira Bilenko

Ira is a Ukrainian singer-songwriter and member of local indie band Pink Mold Chokehold. For Nights of European Music, Ira and her bandmate Chris will play an intimate acoustic set blending Pink Mold Chokehold originals with covers from Ukraine’s indie music scene. From love of nature to surrealism of war, their music explores the beauty and strangeness of the world around us.
