BEAT THE CLOCK RECORDS & DATELESS WONDER CLUB PRESENT:
DATELESS WONDER CLUB 'LITTLE DEATH' EP LAUNCH PARTY
DATELESS WONDER CLUB are a four piece synth driven storytelling post punk band based in Brighton. Described as dark alt-rock for dark alt-times, creating real and imagined character studies drawn out by powerful drumming, melodic keys and bass, lo-fi guitar and goth rock vocals, with something to say about the underbelly of the human condition in all of it's beautiful and messy glory.
Quotes from the crowd: "A Gothic B52's", "A Dark David Byrne", "A Pixies Vibe", "Unpredictable", "Putting the wow into wowt the fuck!"
'LITTLE DEATH' is their second EP, produced and mixed by James Gasson of Third Circle Recordings.
Main Support NICK CARLISLE (formerly of Peepholes/ Bamboo/ Lean Logic) makes songs that blend vintage analogue, electronics and acoustic instruments with more contemporary digital sounds and samples, to paint a world that's instantly recognisable but simultaneously unfamiliar and often unsettling.
First Support HANQUE (pronounced "hunk" or "honk" if you're horny) are a Brighton four piece set for their debut at The Prince Albert. With an evolving sound including garage, alt-rock, noise rock, post punk and new wave, Hanque say that whilst they are fairly commited to the Pixies formula of loud-quiet songwriting, they cannot promise to deliver the rest. So expect an intriguing launch to the EP Launch Party!
Co-promoter BEAT THE CLOCK RECORDS is a secondhand record shop based in Western Road (Palmeira Square), Hove, stocking classic vinyl and CDs.
