Anyone who is in their late 40's to early 50's knows and loves this artist. Jocelyn Enriquez was one of the greatest artist during the Freestyle Dance Music days. In my 20's, I remember her tunes pumping at every club I went to. I love her hit song, "Do you miss me now?". Anyone that knows freestyle music knows Jocelyn.
I wish Jocelyn would perform concerts on the East Coast where freestyle music first started. Specifically, NYC, Chicago, Maimi, NJ, CT, and PA. In my old age now (LOL..) I have attended many freestyle concerts here on the East Coast namely, Judy Torres, Stevie B, T.K.A., Cynthia, Lisette Melendez, Cover Girls, Tiana and George Lamond, just to name a few. I always felt there was one artist missing and that artist being Jocelyn.
For so many years, I have been wondering, "what ever happened to Jocelyn Enriquez and another great artist named Jaya". Both Jocelyn and Jaya have disappeared and after searching for any of their concerts I was not able to find any. Perhaps, they are not touring any longer.
If anyone can contact Jocelyn, please tell her that her fans on the East Coast love her so very much and have not forgotten about her. We will await her return. It would be so nice to see her in concert once again. Oddly, Tommy Boy records signed her up and they're an East Coast record label (NYC). Her songs were recorded in their studio's on First Ave, Manhattan.
Jocelyn Enriquez, your fans in NYC have been waiting hmmm... 24 years for a return to the East Coast concert. Girl, back in the day you were the queen,9 you put out three great albums, all hit songs. You have loads of fans here in NYC. We grew up dancing to your tunes....We grew up with you. Don't forget us as we have not forgotten about you. Long Live Freestyle Music !!! "Do you miss me now?" YES, WE ABSOLUTELY MISS YOU, JOCELYN.
